Kalamu - Luamfwa

Hey all!
Here we are again - today with some pictures of a very beautiful flight to Zambia, Kamalu Luamfwa. This is an airstrip on the southern end of the South Luangwa National Park - from Mfuwe International Airport you follow the Luangwa river and find the strip next to a nice lagoon in a bend of the river. It is special for the South Luangwa National Park because you can fly right into the park and land next to the lodge. It was a great flight in our SUN (Airvan) - and we with a groundspeed like this we were there in almost no time ;)

Following the river we were on a game-"flight" already and saw plenty of hippos, crocs and impalas!

After landing in the park a car picks you up and 2 min later your in the middle of a high class safari camp with a impressive view of the lagoon - it is a very very nice lodge.

ENJOY!
